Aspire One has become a netbook number 1
Acer Aspire One has become a new netbook market leader. According to the statistics, it has outrun Asus for almost 10%.
This year Acer has sold 2,15 millions of netbooks and that is almost 40% of the whole number of netbooks. At the same time Asus has sold only 1,7 millions of their products, and that is only 30%. The year hasn’t finished yet, but the situation will hardly be changed. Aspire One with Windows XP is being sold in USA only for $299. There is no news about such actions from Asus.
